That yellow gadget on the tripod is a revolving laser which projects a red spot; they use this to ensure that the dirt fill for the new concrete floor is level. The pink thing on the floor on the right is a gasoline-powered compactor which is used to tamp down the fill. But most important tool of all is the yellow thing on the floor, a chest full of ice and bottles of water. As mentioned before, the pictures don’t show how hot and dusty it is in there. |
